Celebrating the First Cohort of Growing Expert Curriculum Leaders
At Prospere Learning Trust, we believe that investing in our people is key to delivering the very best education for our pupils. That's why we're proud to celebrate the first cohort of colleagues to complete our inaugural Growing Expert Curriculum Leadership Programme.
Designed for emerging curriculum leaders, the programme supports teachers to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to lead high-quality subject provision, drive school improvement and positively impact outcomes for young people.
Throughout the 2025-26 year, participants from schools across the Trust engaged in a blend of face-to-face and online learning, exploring curriculum design, teaching and learning, assessment, leadership and sustainable improvement. The programme culminated in a final presentation event, where colleagues shared ambitious plans to strengthen provision within their departments and schools.
A particular strength of the programme has been the collaboration it has fostered across our family of schools, enabling leaders to learn from one another, share best practice and build lasting professional networks.
As the first cohort to complete the programme, these colleagues have helped establish a strong foundation for future curriculum leaders across Prospere. Their commitment to professional growth reflects our culture of continuous development and our ambition to be an employer and training provider of choice.
By investing in leadership at every level, we are strengthening the quality of education across our schools and ensuring that even more children and young people benefit from excellent teaching, ambitious curricula and the very best opportunities to succeed.
Zoe Morris, Executive Headteacher, said:
"Developing the next generation of curriculum leaders is essential to improving outcomes for pupils. It has been inspiring to see colleagues grow in confidence, deepen their expertise and apply their learning in ways that will make a real difference in classrooms across our Trust. We're incredibly proud of this first cohort and excited to see the impact of their leadership in the years ahead."
